Having been trained as a chef and silver service waitress. Trained in 5 star restaurants in Czech and Austria, General manger for restaurant in 4star Pegast restaurant in Ceske Budejovice, the home of Budvar.
Came to England in 2008 to advance her skills and has spent the past 3 yrs running pubs for Simon. Firstly the King George in Hale and then latterly the Swan in Tarporley. During her time at these venues helping increase trade and transforming the venues to quality food led pubs.

Local girl! We were fortunate to inherit Sophie when we took over the Boat and she has been a great asset in telling us everything we needed to know from where the stop cock is to where to get a decent kebab! She is great with customers and has everything we need to help build a strong team at the Boat. She is studying for a law degree.

Started as a chef at 16, fully qualified and has all the skills required to get the Boat firmly back on the map. A good kitchen leader. John was previously Head Chef at the Swan in Tarporley for 2 years and now comes to the Boat along with the rest of the team...Loves fishing and has a real passion for game. Has Girlfriend Rachel and Daughter Molly..

After finishing college , Michelle joined us in the summer 2011 and has proven to be a real asset ,great eye for detail, great pride in the flavours and presentation. She is very adaptable and eager to learn more! Her desserts are to die for!!
